Bethany Hickman is an actor, singer, and vocal coach currently based in Tennessee. She is also a content creator best known for her YouTube channel, The Vocalyst, which has over 400K followers. 

Bethany started her career as an opera singer, performing as a professional soloist and chorister until 2018. While she will always have a special fondness for the art of opera, Bethany has since returned to her first love and has fully immersed herself into the theatre world.

As a vocal coach, Bethany works with singers across the globe in many different genres. She is trained in both contemporary and classical singing styles and understands the benefits of cross-genre instruction. In the studio, Bethany helps singers create authentic sounds that best reflect who they are as artists.

In addition to her one-on-one work in private coachings and workshops, Bethany also discusses vocal technique on her YouTube channel, The Vocalyst. She started the channel in 2022 to provide more education on the subject of vocal function while celebrating the artistry of musicians around the world.
